William Hederman is a freelance journalist and photographer. He is also a campaigner in a voluntary capacity. He formerly worked as a journalist and editor at The Irish Times; a journalist and photographer at Village Magazine; a part-time journalism lecturer at DCU and wrote about Ireland for The Guardian for several years.
